Module

Making College More Affordable

Author: Anne Kim and Tess Stovall
In The Middle Class Program

Abstract

This module proposes a college tuition tax cut to help families send their children to college.

Description

The cost of college has skyrocketed in recent years, and because of this, many more students are graduating with student debt. The need for a college degree has become greater, and yet it is priced as a luxury. The college tuition tax cut would provide a generous tax credit to help middle-class families send their children to college. This module explains the problem of increasing costs of college, outlines how to respond and provides suggestions to roll out your plan to the public.
